Hello guys!

When I started flying IFR I learned the 6HITS rule which we all know about. After those 6 months of currency if you don't do those '6HITS' you are no longer current and as far as I know, you got ANOTHER 6 months to stay current either with a Safety Pilot, Simulator, or Instructor. The thing is I can't find this regulation anywhere.

The thing is a got an IPC in November 2021. So I was current until May 2022 and I didn't do the 6HITS. So in June 2022 I jumped in a Sim and got the 6HITS done so I should be current until December 2022 right?

Also, do you need to be current in order to start training in a Regional? I am starting ATP/CTP for a regional on Sept.
