The alpa Newsletter I read mentioned negotiations next week but the current contract cannot be amended until March of 2023. I would love for something to happen before then. Are pay raises something they can do before March?

Make sure you’re getting union emails. The union wants a temporary agreement to bridge the gap between now and the JCBA with JetBlue.
The MEC has tasked the Negotiating Committee with achieving an amended agreement as expeditiously as possible so that Transition and Process Agreement (TPA) and JCBA negotiations are not delayed. In the event the merger is not approved, we would quickly return to the bargaining table having secured increased pay rates and other top priorities of the pilot group.
