UAL’s Kirby is about to order over 100 new widebodies in addition to the 500 narrowbodies he’s getting over the next 60 months. He intends to hire 400 pilots a month.

This means all tier 2 carriers, Spirit, Alaska, Frontier, SWA and JetBlue will lose more pilots than they can hire and train.

Time for Spirit to get real and match or exceed Legacy carrier contracts.
agreed, the only thing any spirit pilot should say in public is "legacy or better" with quality of life improvements. I'm so sick of hearing that we need to give something up to get something. Its stockholm syndrome.
