I agree completely. My concern is how some don’t understand that the truly industry leading contract that we want isn’t going to be an easy fight. Both us and the company have the option of saying no during the negotiations process. I really hope that we’re willing to go the distance, but my confidence just isn’t there. I hope you’re wrong as well. I’m cautiously optimistic after seeing the outrage over the Tumi TA though. It’s also why I think it’s imperative we get these recalls done and a new MEC/MC/NC going so we can start actually applying some additional pressure. The old guard has proven their negotiating model doesn’t work and their attempt at hard selling concessions just p1ssed off a large majority of the pilots they supposedly represent.
