Okay I'll try to answer both questions in one post. Ground school was not hard if you put forth the effort. The instructors are great and as long as you study and put the time in, you'll do fine. I had the Dash 8 300 from Majestic Software and yes it helped. I would use that with the packet they sent to you to get your flows down. Otherwise, just use the posters they provided. Know everything in the study guide-and I mean everything. Definitely get the flows down cold and study all the limitations. Your first week will be spent in indoc-but if you have the packet it will save you lots of time.

As far as delaying the ground school-I wouldn't. As it appears that quite a few airlines are starting to slow down I overheard that we were starting to get a little pickier with our applicants; but really it's all up to you.
