They only base we currently have is CLE and from what I here, there is no talk of additional bases at this time. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Flyboy, hello. I will be in the 7th april class. How difficult do you think is ground school? And the sim? I was trying to get the dash8 200 addon for flight simulator but all I can find is the Q300. Do you think is worthy spending $40 for an addon? Also, from the study guide, do I need to know everything there is on it or just the emergency procedures and the memory items?
Thanks for your help
Baron

Is it possible to delay your groundschool date and pick something a 1-2 months down the road?

Okay I'll try to answer both questions in one post. Ground school was not hard if you put forth the effort. The instructors are great and as long as you study and put the time in, you'll do fine. I had the Dash 8 300 from Majestic Software and yes it helped. I would use that with the packet they sent to you to get your flows down. Otherwise, just use the posters they provided. Know everything in the study guide-and I mean everything. Definitely get the flows down cold and study all the limitations. Your first week will be spent in indoc-but if you have the packet it will save you lots of time.

As far as delaying the ground school-I wouldn't. As it appears that quite a few airlines are starting to slow down I overheard that we were starting to get a little pickier with our applicants; but really it's all up to you.

And we wonder why we can't get pay that we deserve in this industry when we get kids who will work for nothing and are actually happy about it.
