You know what else was in place the day the merger was announced? The retirement announcement of the E190 fleet... So your fantasy of stapling several hundred JB pilots to the bottom of the list below every NK pilot based on the E190 isn't going to happen. The only aircraft the arbitrator will consider are the A220-300 and A320 variants.
My mortgage is due in a few weeks. I called the bank and asked if I could pay them with MTGW or aircraft range/payload, they said no, must be DOLLARS.
I will let the arbitrator know that my bank only accepts DOLLARS and not aircraft tonnage, and he will use pay rates for "category", and it's of course the rates that were in place on the date of merger announcement... Based on that, all NK CAs will be integrated below all JB CAs, and all NK FOs will be slotted below all JB FOs. A fifth "category" will be created for all 1st year NK pilots because of the terribly low 1st year pay, and all NK pilots hired after merger announcement will be placed in the lowest "category".
Or, you can stop trying to fantasize about ways to screw JB pilots out of a fair integration.
