During my short run at Spirit I will say that QOL is light years ahead of a regional. Comfortable cockpit, 1 - 3 legs a day, longer overnights, awesome hotels in awesome locations, etc. Definitely worth leaving a regional for.......up until a few months ago. Now all that nice stuff is not worth leaving for ultra-low training and first year pay along with second and third year pay that is now pathetic when compared to most Regionals.

First year folks may want to consider taking advantage of the language in some of their Regional contracts that allows them to come back and get their old sonority number back within one year of resignation as long as they left for a U.S. carrier that flys aircraft over XXX gross weight or xxx passengers and they left in good standing.
