Good luck and best wishes to all the new hires and ones that will be starting IOE. OOOwheeeeee, now the real training begins. FWIW, just take it literally leg by leg. Take your time, be open minded with constructive criticism. Most of all BE SAFE and HAVE FUN! Once you get on line, you will be inundated with junior manning, ALPA stuff, CDO's that dont go right and will be up all night etc.....and it will be daunting and will down right pi** you off. So take this time during IOE to enjoy the hard work you have accomplished from the interview, through ground and sim and your checkride. My buddy Brian does IOE out of DTW and he is an accomplished Saab driver and instructor. For those fortunate to get him during IOE, please show up on time if not early, be prepared, and you will do fine. You are now part of a great pilot group that prides itself in SAFETY and the record they stand behind. And one more thing, please be respectful of all the work groups (FA's, ground support, gate agents, etc...You all work on the same team for the same goal.)
