Yeah I know that would be a really long commute that's why I am looking for places in NYC. If I could make it back once a month or every other I'd be ok with that. I don't even think it would be possible to commute starting out as I'll be on reserve?
Yes it is a small world. I kinda miss bako and In'n Out and lengthwise and all the stuff that went on around the area. You will have a lot of fun here at Comair and no matter what you hear it is a fun place to work. the JF'nK Captains are cool guys that have all been around the block here at Comair and all of the ones I flew with are very knowledgeable pilots. It will be a tough commute back to Bako for you and i might suggest looking into getting a parking pass at LAX and driving that first leg. I have had to take the Bus more than once since i got in too late etc.
I have not ever regretted my decision to come to Comair and I doubt you will either. If you have any questions let me know and i will PM you my number. I'll make sure the guys in the training department have the fire hose ready for you in April!
