I'm pretty frustrated right now. What excuse is that to engage in harmful and destructive actions? None. Your frustration did not excuse your threats, but it did expose your true character, or rather the lack thereof.

You have a conscious? I assume you mean conscience. You have integrity? Apparently your conscience and integrity are situational rather than absolute, as you were so comfortable tossing them aside because you were ... frustrated. Yeah, well there are plenty of others around here who are frustrated with the direction we've been led ... or not led, as it were.
You continue to blame the pilots but refuse to hold the leadership accountable:

The message the pilot group has received has been ambiguous at best, and certainly has not communicated any need for anyone to interrupt their normal daily lives. As recently as the last Negotiations Update we were told progress continues to be made. In the previous Update we were told, they'll let us know if they become deadlocked. We were told we did not need to host a picketing event on September 1st along with all of the other ALPA properties in Section 6 negotiations because they anticipated we would have a TA by then. We were told we might have an event of some sort in September, but only if we didn't have a TA by then, and they expected us to have a TA. Even when we first heard in April, "The Time is NOW" the date for a picketing event was not announced until over a week later, and that date was over a month later still. New definition for "Now"?!? Where is the urgency?
Nothing has been done to warm the crew force up to the proposition that we will actually have to do something to convince The Company that we demand a contract NOW. You can't make a pot of water INSTANTLY boil by flipping on the gas. It takes time and energy, and so far the flame hasn't even been lit. So, we both see cold, uninvolved, unconcerned pilots. You blame them, while I see a failure of leadership to light the flame to even start warming the pot.
I'm confident there are many pilots who would have loved to participate in the picketing event scheduled to be held in NYC on Sep 26, but they were not given the opportunity to bid around that date and are now assigned trips. It's not their fault they can't be there -- it's the MEC's fault for keeping the secret. Pray tell, what tactical advantage was gained by doing that? What did that get us other than more days and weeks of being unprepared to stand together? Whose fault is that?
