Yeah, the slumlord was foreclosed on. Someone else (KA ) on this forum can elaborate since it happenned about a month after I left....but... Apparently the bank knocked on the door one day looking for payment. It ended up being a scene and they were all kicked out right before Christmas. There were 10 upstairs and 10 downstairs when I lived there. Everyone on reserve = there all the time.

I'll never forget Natalie's semi-montly broom-sweeping of the 1950's carpet, the door usually being locked on the laundry door after you put stuff in, the day the shower stopped up and they busted a hole thru the bathroom floor trying to fix it, the multiple gas line leaks in the kitchen, and the continuous reek of weed from the basement. Ah, memories....
