Alright, time to catch up on my posts...

Animosity Among Pilots
Personally, I think the animosity amongst regional pilots is disgusting. It’s like freakin’ high school all over again. Everyone thinks they are cooler than everyone else; my airline is better than yours; my CRJ is better than your ERJ. It’s pretty pathetic if you ask me. CHQ didn’t “take” any flying from us. Delta decides who and where we are going to fly. This is how the regional airline industry works. Get used to it. Period.

CVG vs. JFK Base
Both bases have their pros and cons. Personally, I don’t like JFK. Good thing about JFK is you have the more laid back crews, and it is a good money maker if you hold a line and you get stuck with delays, plus everything is connect with public transportation to/from airport/downtown/crashpad. You need some patience flying in and out of JFK. The downside to JFK, the terminal and crew rooms are disgusting, and if you don’t have enough patience, it can become a nightmare. Plus, as an F/O you won’t be flying very much. You will fly quite a bit to get your 100 hrs., but then things will start to slow down.

SuperPilotJesse: I would consider CVG. It is a bigger base, which in turn has more flying to go around, and you will fly more. Unless you like sitting around the crashpad and work as little as possible, but if you are like me, trying to get this regional flying over with as soon as possible, you might want to consider CVG.

April 8 Net Conference
Don’t give your hopes up guys. It will be the same BS and Kool-Aid they fed us during the last net conference. IF something big would happen, it would have already leaked out to the news media.

Hiring
Someone motioned they are going to pick up hiring again to 30 people/month. I highly doubt that. Our attrition has slowed a little, plus I think we have more than enough F/Os at this time.
