Randomly had 54 hours of rest assigned to me in the middle of a six day block of long call today. The notification came over 24 hours after the start of the supposed rest. When I get back on LC, I'll only have 29 hours of LC remaining (or 17 if released at noon on my last day). I called CS and the scheduler couldn't give me a reason for it. No idea what happened, but rest must be prospective, meaning you must know about it in advance. So if you were not notified until 24 hours in that rest before notification doesn’t count towards any 30/168 reset requirement.
