Never said we didn't have crappy bases...we do. But what we don't have is bases in exhorbant COL areas (SFO/LAX/DCA/NYC).
MIA/FLL is getting there but still isn't on the level of those areas in terms of COL. Rents have doubled in Brickell and people from NY and CA are still moving in and talking about what a great deal it is.
Dade country lies on probably one of the best pieces of land in the country geography wise. Problem is that the population of Dade county makes it a completely unlivable hell hole. I say wall it off and let them have it as long as they pay taxes including a damage surtax for ruining paradise. They get no access to any other county and we get safe passage through Dade without stopping.
