Don't feel bad, I used to fly the airbus and had to think really hard to try to picture it in the cockpit. It's only ever used when everything else has failed.Originally Posted by aa73
My bad. Guess there is one after all.. like someone said, very subtle and easy to miss since I’ve never seen the pilots use it. And yes I have the knee scars to prove the operation of ours, lol. I also manually trim a bunch when I’m hand flying… because it’s fun and the trim wheel is just loud AF sometimes. I’m guessing it’s just a manual backup if stuff goes to crap?
