Okay, here's a dumb question. I live in California so when I tell people I know that I am going to be working for Comair they stare at me blankly. So then I go into a description about them and their relation to Delta.
My Question
Is it unacceptable to just say Delta or Delta Connection, primarily to my friends/family who know nothing about aviation?
My response to "who do you fly for?" varies depending on who and how they ask the question. Most people are making small talk and really don't care, so I just say Delta Connection and move on. If they seem like they care or their head won't explode as a result of hearing the explanation, I say Comair and provide more detail if needed.
