It was quite clever how they went about it.

A demotion - a decades old managerial position (a real one: hire/fire authority) taken away WITHOUT LOSS OF PAY, and without clear explanation. Dozens of records on file about what a fantastic boss and engineer she was - from mostly male engineers. But it's been made crystal clear she'll never be given a project to lead.

Internal company ethics board reviewed the case - bumped it up to the main HQ ethics board because it was "too hot to handle". That board failed to rule either way either; it just went into the ether.

Multiple lawyers consulted. It's going to take years, but this gals career advancement is over.

As to the Glint survey? Complain about crew meals, hotels, even pay. But there are some things you'd better not put in a purportedly "anonymous" survey.

I don't lose any sleep over it. But I don't bother to fill them out, either. Having the appearance of input is a well known control mechanism and safety valve.
