If they aren’t paying you, I’m not sure why you would spend the time on any survey with the possible exception of the rotation construction one, which is honestly more like a vote.

I think someone said it best when they said all they do is look at turnout not answers.

Moral speaks by people not even caring enough to do it.

There's a saying about leadership that might be somewhat applicable: "don't fear when the troops are complaining -- it means they still care; it's when the troops are silent that you need to worry."

I'm sure this paraphrase completely butchered the original message, but when the company has to beg for responses, it's indicative that the care factor is quite low.

I’d rather use my time talking to fellow pilots here and read chatter here than fill out a survey that won’t do anything for us. They don’t care about that, they just want us to think they do. Then we will have cookies in the lounge for “pilot appreciation day” …

I’ll do a union survey…
