You’re still facing the reality of having to waste another month down at the schoolhouse to get your A320/A220 type in the next year or two. It’s a huge time suck and it’s a little unpredictable on when you’ll go to training and how that interferes with your personal life. I had to miss a wedding because they can send you four months prior to your training effective date.
Sometimes it’s good to learn something new, and the JetBlue training program isn’t something I would sweat about if you come prepared. The fact that you’re asking questions tell me being prepared won’t be an issue for you. Now if you’re bidding the 190 for other reasons like seniority or QOL, that’s a different story.
Thank you! It’s a combo of QOL and knowing/liking the aircraft. I’ve heard FOs are making good money in the 190 right now and that reserve times are shorter than the 220/320. Is that true?
