So I’m trying to stay quiet and listen/learn since I’ve been here less than 6months, but a large portion of new hires are very aware of the regional pay scales being greater than our rates (temporary or not), as well as our unique fleet situation and the necessity to attract solid pilots.
Im guessing that the guys on the bottom seeing the discrepancy are, on the whole, replacing the VSP guys/gals that wanted a new contract.
I can’t remember the exact number of VSP guys, but what was it like in comparison to the new hire numbers over the last 6-9 months?
Possible silver lining for a vote?
