In the passrider blue book it says we are “expected” to clean. Whatever that means.
Thank you this is the answer. The JB FOM specifically states you are not required to do it.
My other point and perhaps heads up is we (Spirit) have arbitrarily just been assigned an additional duty on average adding 20-60 minutes to our duty day, with no pushback from our Union reps, that I am aware of, that involves the deplaning time period.
Someone also pointed out how the Spirit policy is certainly flawed in that boarding the passengers does not require a pilot to supervise.
