Very simple way to prevent pilots from having to stay during any deplaning today or for the future.

CALL a cab or Uber black. If you have to deplane, especially deplane an international flight, you’ll be over 30 minutes from block in. Call a ride and expense it. I wish pilots, CAs and FOs, did this every time. I’m willing to bet a few thousand expense reports for transportation fees from either poor hotel shuttles and having to stay after would change the policy.

They only care about money. It’s a contractual right and pilots still don’t use it, wait on the curb for 45 minutes in IAH for the short stay van, after clearing international 30 minutes prior. Why?
Hand on the cab door handle at 0:29. Every time. Always tell the FO to do it for himself and leave the CA behind is he doesn't step up.
