I listened to an instructor go on and on about how much money he could make flying a line after he explained how good he had it at tk. They are making a lot of money, cherry picking trips, and sleeping at home vs the life of someone hustling non-stop dealing with 90 hr lines, delays, redeyes, and disgruntled passengers. A small group of people were able to really crush premium pay in the past 2 years and every instructor thinks that they would have been in that small group? Probably not. They would have been already stuck working a 21hr 4 day with redeyes when that premium trip popped in or been too exhausted to pick it up.
TK is already a pretty sweet gig compared to grinding out a big pay check on the line month after month.
