Offline Jumpseat
I was Jumpseating to work ( ups pilot ) on a RJ with a connection. I was issued a vallet tag for my like everyone else. When I left my bad at the bottom of the stairs the GSA freaked out and said it was too big ( packed for a 12 day international trip ). After introducing myself to the captain I took my seat and the agent came to me and said she checked my bag to SDF….. I had a connection in CLT. What if I couldn’t get on? Is this standard practice or I wonder if it’s just this station. Oh she told me if I want to Jumpseat with them I needed to buy a smaller bag. Either way if you decide to catch a ride on us feel free to bring a big bag and as much stuff as you want. Thanks!
