Right after the merger there was some trouble with bags for commuters being valeted if you were going to an AA station. Example: CLT-BOS. CLT was an Airways station and BOS AA. I'm not sure if it was contractual or not but the AA rampers refused to bring crew valeted bags up to the plane.
