hope everyone votes this way. I’m a new hire so I can’t vote my opinion. But came to spirit with intentions of staying long term. When Alpa spoke with our class it was “we’re working on a quick fix for pay and then long term joint contract with JB” “quick fix pay?” What if spirit pilots are offered jet blue rates today? Yes better (mostly for new hires) but it’s still old rates and less than industry standard. Plus that “quick fix pay” to stop attrition is going to suck when/ if this merger dosent actually get approved by the DOJ. Even if it does the chance of them completing it early 2024 is a pipe dream.
