Yes better (mostly for new hires) but it’s still old rates and less than industry standard. Plus that “quick fix pay” to stop attrition is going to suck when/ if this merger dosent actually get approved by the DOJ. Even if it does the chance of them completing it early 2024 is a pipe dream.
jetBlue FO rates would be nearly 25% increase for most mid level FO’s. Include a clause that whatever gains jetBlue gets in their current negotiations we get also. Also that if the merger fails we immediately go back to the table.
