The requirements for Direct Entry Second Officer is only a commercial IFR - is anyone actually getting hired with 200hrs? How long will you be an S/O before upgrading to F/O?
The requirements for Direct F/O look to be about on par with a US regional - is that truly the case? Would they be going on the MAX or a W/B?
Looks like there is a 7 year training bond so probably ideal for someone who wants to be there for the long run. What does the future look like for SQ pilots?

Definitely a bit of shiny jet syndrome going on but SQ's reputation/route network seems like a really fun type of airline flying; plus I absolutely love Singapore!
I'm a Canadian/American national so if anyone could shed some light on the comparison between working for airlines like United/Air Canada versus Singapore?

Give it a shot! You’ve got nothing to lose but gain. Given it’s a UK website, however, in Today’s market, I would wager Singapore would prefer UK or EASA licenses pilots rather than FAA.
