That's a tough one. If it were me it would come down to the type of flying I wanted to see before I retired. The money is probably a rounding error but getting to see widebody international here was pretty incredible. I got to explore all over the world and get paid to do it within my first 5 years. A lot of ex-blue people here and the biggest difference for me is how we are treated. We aren't treated the same as flight attendants or have silly rules imposed on us like no family at the lodge. You are treated like a professional with an important role. 15 yrs of being treated like a flight attendant would get under my skin.
Everyone has their happy place and some people are happy doing Orlando turns and Buffalo overnights and watching their retirement grow. We are a mostly a 73 airline as well if that comes into your calculus. The airbus here does regional flying. A lot of airbus guys here are lying to themselves "when the XLR gets here..." but the fast and dirty of it is we have more 73s and they go better places with better schedules. I would recommend the 73 being in your plan if you do decide to come here. Good luck!
