Imagine agreeing to buy something for $20 then you go pick it up and they say that it’s now $30. Kinda of the same concept.

It’s the same reason F9 got a pay raise after the merger fell through. They couldn’t increase any labor costs because they were in talks with us. That came right out of HRs mouth to me.

Like I said, it’ll be interesting how far they’ll go. I’m sure JB is aware of the situation and knows the labor cost will go up. We’ll see how this plays out.

You do realize we still have to negotiate an entirely new JCBA before we actually merge right? NK could raise the top rate to $500 and min days off to 18 and it wouldn’t matter to JetBlue as they still pay the same price and get to negotiate the new pilot contract.
