Imagine agreeing to buy something for $20 then you go pick it up and they say that it’s now $30. Kinda of the same concept.
It’s the same reason F9 got a pay raise after the merger fell through. They couldn’t increase any labor costs because they were in talks with us. That came right out of HRs mouth to me.
Like I said, it’ll be interesting how far they’ll go. I’m sure JB is aware of the situation and knows the labor cost will go up. We’ll see how this plays out.
Sorry but we can only pay 1.49 for fuel because we're in negotiations. Sorry we have no rampers. We couldn't increase their wages because JetBlue might not wanna buy us anymore.
We're running independently, however I would be ok if this line of thinking increases attrition.
