I guess it is possible they could have done better, but that is always the case in negotiations. Honestly, the majority of pilots at NetJets would probably be better off leaving for AK now. That said, many of us have some golden handcuffs and won't be leaving.

I'm not a big fan of Minrest when he comes to the fractional board and spouts "facts" that haven't been true for some time, but I don't have a problem when he relates things that are true. He hasn't been cheerleading his new contract, but I guess I will a little. It is better paying than the others now. Hopefully it leads the others to do way better and the snap up brings them up also. It certainly makes our base salary look weak.
JL is a clown. You guys think I am bitter, JL hasn't worked for an airline in almost two decades yet all he can do is trash them Truth is, AS has the highest narrowbody rates and a "me too" clause if it ends up dipping. Also, scheduling, soft pay, reserve rules and the majority of other sections were complete rewrites. We closed a huge gap. Our NJA new hire class has a group text and we all talk daily. Of the 15 or so of us, 6 are still at NJA so I know how compensation and QOL has stacked up before the CBA and with other airlines as we have one at purple, another at brown, 4 at SWA and 3 at UAL. When I talk about real world compensation and QOL it isn't out of thin air and made up. I don't peg AS against NJA for some penis measuring contest, nor would I ever. I don't cheerlead the new contract because it isn't necessary and it is honestly irrelevant to NJA.
