100% agree that talk is cheap & the TA itself will be the ultimate show of where they stand. My point is, while some on this thread were claiming the company has no motivation to work toward a solution, there would be no reason to make this move if they didn’t care at all about keeping us happy. Remember, they put TUMI together with the cooperation of our union. Until it all blew up, they thought they were getting this contract along with the goodwill of the pilots.

Our union has only really been properly acting on our behalf for a couple of months, & we have ourselves to blame for that. But it appears to me the company is taking notice. They are seeing how quickly our COVID-era culture of “helping them help us” is trending toward FUPM, & they don’t want that. I’m not suggesting we let up the pressure based on their “showing of goodwill”. I’m suggesting their attempt to buy a bit more time is proof that the pressure is working. My advice is we don’t let up. Keep picketing & keep letting management know that the TA (or lack thereof) will be the only result we base our final judgement on.
