The biggest winners were the guys with the stones to bail out, then come back as an RJ pilot. They are getting VEOP pay + regional pay above Delta rates.
I'm with you as a hard NO on the Min Balance plan. It is a cash grab, plain and simple.
VEOP was only available to about half of the pilot group at the time. There were several age and longevity requirements.
