You guys also seem to forget that the -88 isn't fuel efficient either(just look at AA), which is why Delta is parking some. NWA also has 717's available to them, although that is one of the last things I want to see.
And all of us talk like we know what the agreement contained, "I talked to my MEC rep and he said...", "I know a guy who was negotiating it", but the bottom line is that no one knows what went on in that room but the people that were in it. And no one who was in that room is going to tell anyone about what was negotiated. Let's stop bickering on what "broke" the deal and focus on a way we can benefit from it.
