We only have 37-39 700's so Im not sure why they would ever need to use even close to that number of reserve FO's. The 700 for the month of april has 129 hard lines and 165 FO's. That's at least 36 guys awarded a reserve line. I don't know, it's probably normal but at the moment we are definatley fat on FO's since I haven't flown in a week and a half and it doesn't look like Im going to hit the skies anytime soon. No biggy though, get to hang out and be a bumb. Who wouldn't want to get paid to do that?
Not true. The entire 3/10 new hire class was originally assigned the 700, then all reassigned the 200 a week later. Still on the 200 as far as we know. Class before mine had some 200 people and a the last 2 ATR guys. Class before that was all 700 and still on the 700.
