You'd have to be a fool to sign up to be a mint FA now. Locked into the cadre with no way out, doing the same labor intensive routes over and over, all for next to no extra pay.
And the transatlantic cadre is worse. Stuck doing 18 hour three days , all of which involve red eyes and doing a crazy coach service that takes hours. All on a narrowbody.
Who cares. People bid for stuff that doesn't make sense to me all the time. You want to be on CA reserve for years as a 3000+ seniority # pilot. WHAT A FOOL!!! Whatever, their choice. Do what you want.
