Question for anyone who knows, how is the economic proposal negotiated?
By hourly rate based on seat, years of service, etc….
or is it more along the lines of negotiating a certain number of XYZ million annually that the union can divide amongst the pilot group as they see fit?
I think a proposal can be thrown out by either union or management in any terms they want to throw it out, and generally everyone is sort of bound by non disclosure agreements until the MEC agrees to send a TA to the pilots.
