Well he voted for it, so I attribute the "he was against it" to the "burn the house down crowd."
If I had a vote I wouldn't have voted for him but I don't think the world is ending either. The worst thing we can do now is divide as a Pilot group. If we get a crappy TA - fine, burn the witches, recall the MEC, put cats and dogs in the same kennels etc, but my personal opinion is that its premature to opine that this screws us in the current section 6.
The NC works for the MEC not the chairman. Its been a while since we had a rock star Chairman -
they all seem to have ulterior motives to me. IMHO Malone was the best. Never went to National, didn't start a consulting company - just went back to flying the line. How refreshing is that.
