What about the domicile pilots who know that their vote in an LEC election will also impact any number of future MEC officer elections? I make my decision in LEC elections with these matters in mind. Maybe you don’t?
If you want to have a direct vote for the MEC officers, then go have fun with the APA’s train wreck of a system.
100 votes, maybe not. What about 1,000, 1,500? Point is, we’ll never know that data. As to voting for my rep, I can only go by their letters. In C44, those are often only used to get elected. After that, the real rep presents. The best/worst example of this would be the only failed TA in our history. As to APA’s system, you know more than I do. That said, I think the members having more input will always be better than less.
