Agreed, however freedom(mesa) has now put 2 good airlines out of business(ACA and Aloha) and received tons of regional flying by severely underbidding competition mostly do to subpar pilot and flight attendant wages. Not only that but the fact that they dont even receive block or better. Strictly block out of jfk could you imagine that. All while producing a terrible product for customer service,completion, and on time percentage. Its about time JO got a little bit of his own medicine.
Sad a bunch of pilots may be out of a job true, however agreeing to work for such a scumbag operation has caused far more pilots to loose their jobs.
I would love to see JO get what's coming to him. However, POC's like him rarely do.....The staff, pilots, FA's mechanics, admins, they'll take the hit. Believe me, i'm not going to miss JO and I hope this resets the bar for how to run an operation, but he'll survive long enough to put someone else's operation in danger.
