I’m not at Spirit so I have no dog in this fight. But here me out on this tin foil hat theory:
Spirit has brand new efficient Neo airplanes coming. The global supply for new jets needed for growth is starting to be difficult to acquire. Multiple articles on this if you search so I won’t include them. What if Spirit’s plan is to sell or lease the older less efficient CEO’s for income stream?
