I agree, but alpa national thinks it's too risky to open up that can of worms. Basically there's a good chance that we could end up worse off than before (ie no self-help allowed). The legislative process is such a crap-shoot that management (ATA) doesn't want to risk it either.

Personally I suspect management would come out ahead, not much public sympathy for us greedy, underworked, millionaire RJ drivers. And even if labor did get a favorable bill, it would just get vetoed.
