But if the company needs flights to go out and there’s supposedly a shortage of FOs, then it would be even dumber to cancel or delay a flight simply because your feelings are hurt that someone chose another airline. I don’t think anyone said anything about delaying flights. There’s a line of people waiting for oe at the moment backed up weeks. The company is simply removing them from the trip and replacing them with another fo. Certainly understandable why the company would want to do that. While imo it’s still wrong to remove someone from oe or stop them from consolidating just because there’s wind they are leaving, they are still employed by spirit and until the day they quit have the same rights as any other pilot here.
