Training pay is only about attracting people here and clearly by filling class and having a majority of classes full every week training pay is less of a factor. Raising it likely wouldn’t increase those number enough to justify raising it. People leaving after the type has more to do with people aspirations to go to a legacy and improve quality of life for what works for them. Spirit to most is not a destination airline and that could be attributed to many factor but right now pay is one of them. Raising pay across the board but mostly first year pay would definitely help that. Raising training pay imo wouldn’t affect someone decision to stay once they’ve arrived on property. Could affect someone’s decision to come here but the amount of money they’d have to give to increase the number to go from 90% training capacity to 100% would be a lot. More than what the company is willing to give.
