The attrition at Atlas is just going to increase in the coming months/years and all the Legacy airlines hire ridiculous amounts. The hiring at Atlas will not slow down. Of course, the vast majority of the attrition will be in the FO ranks, so upgrades won’t accelerate…in fact they will probably continue to increase. I upgraded on the 767 at just over 3 years…now I believe it’s 5 to 5.5 years on the 767 and another half a year on the 747/777…and likely to go higher as more and more junior pilots leave.
