Training Pay increase
So training pay up to $2500 coupled with no health insurance for 90 days is a big deal. It is a slap in the face. A worse slap was $1750 and I get it that all the current pilots endured that. If you are 25 years old with no family responsibilities, it may be a slap you can take. Can your family take it?
I feel like the company had a golden opportunity to address attrition. Regular pay during training, health insurance on day one, and at least match the pay that a new hire gets at a regional. Pretty simple. Opportunity missed.
