As a former HKG guy, I get it. I couldn’t possibly handle another year of Asia isolation. Fortunately that’s over with.
I also live close to the United TC, and even turned down United to come here almost 5 years ago. I don’t even know if they’d hire me again, but I’d sure have to be desperate to leave my widebody CA seat to start over again somewhere else. I won’t say I’d never do that, but things would have to certainly be dire for me to do so. But IF FedEx wanted to become the next Atlas or something, then yes absolutely I would leave.
