Guy on the JS last week said PHX-LAX commute sucks far more than SLC (he changed to SLC a year or so ago). Said it’s mostly RJs now (SLC commute is 5x mainline per day in 320/73). Haven’t verified it, but passing along what I heard.
Flew with a cap that has done all the west coast commutes and he said SLC was a way easier commute for that reason. I have a FA friend that echos this, too. The only benefit is the last minute drive to LA is much shorter then SLC.
